Playing Internet Arcade

From what I have experienced playing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 from the emulator, it was both nostalgic and new—for me being able to play this classic game on the internet. When playing this game, it felt like I was 13 again. Sonic The Hedgehog was my favorite game growing up as a kid, and it still is today; the joys and frustration it brought still linger to this day. As for playing the arcade version on the emulator, I must say it was initially confusing. I have played many mobile games using the emulator program, but this is the first time I have played an arcade game on it. The experience when playing the game on an emulator was different. The gameplay was what I expected it to be when going to an arcade gaming center. But the difference between those is that one is free, and the other is that you have to pay to play the game. Another difference is that the controls are separate from what you expect from an arcade game. For the internet arcade, you have your keyboard; for the original arcade, you get a button and a joystick. But besides that, I have to say the internet arcade is good; it is just that players will have to get used to the controls if they want to play their game.
